Access - Live access to the information you need

Link all the model artifacts you need to Confluence pages without creating any copies. If the model in Cameo or MagicDraw is updated, the model in Confluence will update too, so you’ll always have the latest version of the model to help your team get things done better and faster.

No copies of data

OSLC Connect for Confluence is built on the linked data concept. This means that your assets remain native to your repositories, with no copies, no clones, but simple and reliable direct links from your favorite tools from Confluence.

Preserve data ownership

The OSLC standard provides a secure framework to access and display remote real-time data across Jira and CATIA Teamwork Cloud. With the ability to reference remote data without creating copies, OSLC Connect for Confluence ensures that your data remains in its native repository at all times.

Built for the engineering enterprise

Data ownership and permission models remain in the ownership of engineering tools enabling security and audit controls to remain. No servers and synchronization tasks to cause IT replication challenges.

FAQs

What does OSLC Connect for Confluence with CATIA Teamwork Cloud do?
OSLC Connect for Confluence lets you reference live SysML/UML artifacts stored in Teamwork Cloud directly inside Confluence pages. Instead of duplicating content, Confluence displays a secure, read-only view that always reflects the latest version in Teamwork Cloud.
Do I need to export diagrams or copy files?

No. The macro fetches the artifact run-time via OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration) links. Nothing is copied into Confluence; the data remains in Teamwork Cloud.

How is access secured?
Each viewer must authenticate with the Teamwork Cloud server. If they don’t have permission there, they’ll see a login prompt or access-denied notice. Confluence never stores the model data—only the link.
What display options are available?
  • Compact (Rich Hover) – shows a link; users hover to preview key attributes.
  • Expanded Preview – renders an interactive diagram you can zoom and pan directly on the page.
Switch views anytime by double-clicking the macro while editing.
Which artifacts from Teamwork Cloud can I embed into Confluence?

Any element exposed by Teamwork Cloud’s Architecture Management domain: packages, blocks, activities, sequence diagrams, etc. You choose items through a navigation tree when inserting the macro.

Can I connect multiple Teamwork Cloud projects?
Yes. In Space Tools → OSLC Connect → Associations, you can map each Confluence space to one or more Teamwork Cloud projects. Associations can differ per space.
Is the creation or editing of model elements supported from Confluence?

No. The integration is intentionally read-only for model artifacts. In OSLC Schemes, you’ll notice “creation dialogs” are disabled for Teamwork Cloud to prevent accidental model changes from Confluence.

How is licensing handled?

Licenses are managed through the Atlassian Marketplace. You can start with a fully featured 30-day free trial; after that, tier-based pricing applies just like other Marketplace apps.
