Boost the value of IBM DOORS Next with Requirements Management Widgets

The Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) must be assigned individually and uniquely for all data types and for each attribute. This widget does the job for you: The URIs are automatically calculated and set for you in the type definitions in your IBM DOORS Next environment.

Just list the attributes you want to check for changes and specify the configuration you’d like to compare against. The script will return just the differences, or the differences in context of the module, as you prefer.

This widget allows you to quickly view a component’s properties in a concise table, giving you a complete overview of its characteristics. You can also compare the properties of two configurations. This provides you with a precise overview of the differences, enabling you to decide whether to merge the properties or copy individual properties.

Stop guessing or hopping between multiple tabs in IBM DOORS. This widget includes the Global Configuration in a mini dashboard displayed next to your IBM DOORS window in the same browser tab. Quickly navigate to individual components belonging to the same Global Configuration but hosted in another tool in the lifecycle. 

You need to “carve out” a module from a project for transfer to another project or to a partner, and all the links are broken? This widget will automatically recreate all the links for you. Prior to copying, add an ID to the attribute of each target artifact to be copied. The widget will restore all the links based on the IDs.

You like to see model elements next to requirements to help users better understand or to illustrate certain details? This widget not only lets you easily pick and insert a diagram. Furthermore, it will also check for updates and will re-insert a new version if necessary.
