Product variant

A product variant is a specific version of a product. It is created to represent alternative designs or features while sharing common components and structure. They may exist in parallel, sequentially, or with overlap, and include individual differences such as hardware options or software functions.

For example, a car model sold in gasoline, hybrid, and electric versions represents different product variants of the same core products.
