The proliferation of automotive electronics as an enabler for vehicle features mandates a rigorous approach to managing modules, interfaces, and engineering processes. SodiusWillert tools supporting AUTOSAR (classic/adaptive) and ASPICE maturity audits help you deliver quality and safety for your customers and for the end-user.
AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) is a standardized architecture model for automotive electronics. The AUTOSAR classic platform is widely used today, and the AUTOSAR adaptive platform will be used for future vehicle generations. AUTOSAR compliance is a mandatory requirement of the MISRA guidelines.
ASPICE is the automotive version of SPICE, a standard for determining the maturity of processes in software development. OEMs usually require ASPICE compliance, which must be demonstrated in regular ASPICE audits.
AUTOSAR and ASPICE do not simply coexist. What they have in common is that the use of a model-based approach to development makes adherence to the guidelines and proof of compliance much easier. SodiusWillert's tools provide engineers with a powerful environment for model-based design and development of AUTOSAR-compliant modules, both for classic and adaptive platform. In addition, engineers who have less experience with AUTOSAR are also able to develop AUTOSAR components using our tools. As a side effect, many criteria associated with widely required ASPICE maturity levels are much more easily met with our model-based AUTOSAR tools and add-ons.
SodiusWillert's AUTOSAR expertise is proven and recognized by IBM. We were selected to enable IBM to bring their IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody® - AUTOSAR extension to market.
Kickstart your AUTOSAR projects without spending valuable time in AUTOSAR training. SodiusWillert's AUTOSAR tool automatically transforms SysML to AUTOSAR and further to UML. There is no in-depth AUTOSAR specification knowledge required, engineers with little or no background in AUTOSAR development are able to develop AUTOSAR compliant components (classic/adaptive).
ASPICE defines 32 processes, with 16 classified as essential. There are 6 maturity levels, and OEMs typically require compliance with ASPICE level 3, which suppliers must demonstrate in regular audits. With SodiusWillert AUTOSAR tools, automotive organizations benefit from a model-based approach that automatically creates the foundation for adherence to many ASPICE maturity level requirements.
SodiusWillert AUTOSAR offerings let you link requirements to your model and automatically generated source code. Benefit from full end-to-end traceability and demonstrate coverage at any level of detail with just a click. Create complete traceability views for your ASPICE maturity level audit from up-to-date engineering artifacts.
When developing AUTOSAR components, SodiusWillert's AUTOSAR offerings help you ensure the compatibility of your artifacts with applicable standards and profiles, such as AUTOSAR interfaces, ARUML or ARXML. Integration with other AUTOSAR compliant tools, e.g. in OEM/supplier projects, works without media breaks.
SodiusWillert's AUTOSAR tools make the tedious task of creating documentation much easier. Simply generate documentation for acceptance tests or ASPICE audits automatically from your model and be confident that it is always in-sync with your latest changes.
SodiusWillert’s condensed profile and Realtime eXecution Framework (RXF) help you implement AUTOSAR Software Components (SWCs).
Leverage UML modeling for software development, even for small target systems and benefit from transparency and clarity gained from the model.
Embedded UML RXF contains a complete library implementing UML elements that have no equivalent in C or C++ plus interfaces for many RTOS and target systems.
IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody - AUTOSAR extension. The AUTOSAR add-on for your IBM Rhapsody environment, with RXF for AUTOSAR and ARUML/ARXML support
