This month we released the latest in ALM-PLM Connectivity with our OSLC Connect for Windchill.

With each of our product releases, we strive to enhance the usability and experience. In this release, you will find critical enablers for your teams and processes that connect your engineering lifecycle.

Connect Your Jira Software Teams to the Lifecycle

In previous releases of OSLC Connect for Windchill, we provided the ability to link to your Systems and Software teams using IBM RTC/EWM.

In the 3.1.0 release, we extend this connectivity to include your Atlassian Jira artifacts. Now you can connect across the lifecycle and include your Jira teams in your Product Management practices.

Participate in Global Configurations

Managing Configurations across repositories is critical for our modern design activities. So how do we know which part versions go with which versions of requirements? And how do we know what versions of parts are affected by a requirement change? We must do this by having an Enterprise Configuration that aligns with repository configurations.

With this release, we are supporting the ability to leverage Windchill Configurations (described by Filters) in the IBM Global Configuration (GC). With this evolution, the selection of a GC in IBM ELM, or in PTC Windchill, selects the compatible configurations across all connected repositories.
